Heroes
This week for Illustration Friday my inspiration was David Bowie. "Heroes" was the first thing that popped into my head, and I really wanted to try to capture just a piece of that song. I was trying to figure out how I was going to draw this, and I ended up working in Photoshop - for the first time! So this is my first finished Photoshop image ever! Woot! Technology can kiss my yellow ass!

Gee wizzikers! So many fine illustrations this week...and then there's THIS one of YOURS!!! This is absolutely perfect!
Aw shucks *kicks dirt*. Thanks!
Now we just need a drawing of Ziggy Stardust... :) Great picture!
Well done, for a first time job in PSP it's very good. I like your interpretation of the theme. It's very romantique, but maybe I get that vibe because I'm a girl and I like that sort of stuff!
thanks khya and everyone else! i haven't had much time to keep playing around in photoshop - i think this might be the one and only thing i do using it, unless my photoshop queen friend gives me some lessons. :) i think it came out romantical too - it was a lot more romantical (ok, i know it's not really a word) in my head! i think it's a girl thing!
